  • Good app!

This is a cool and great sounding app. Here's a wish list of features for NI to include in next update: 1. The ability to add a fade to the end of samples to reduce noise and the occasional "click" at the end of user made / chopped up samples. 2. The ability to fine tune the tuning of a sample with an actual numeric value so that multiple chopped portions of loops could all be tuned to exact same value instead guessing with the visual slider. 3. Actual EQ for individual samples instead of just the filters available for tracks now. 4. The ability to separate stereo samples into two separate mono samples that can be panned anywhere in the stereo field. Thanks for a cool app! Look forward to more updates and sounds!
  • It's good but needs a little more improvement

It's a good can't lie, it's good but for instance like the sampling the pitch shift it would be nice to have on the app........ and also instead of having samples for 10 seconds why don't we maschine users have unlimited time for the samples so that where we can put it in our track export it to the software, it's like making work less complicated
  • Amazing!

I had been contemplating getting this app for some time because I didn't know how fluid it would be far as making beats on a mobile device but after reading reviews and taking a chance, I was amazed. The interface is smooth and looks great. There's no lag and it quantizes sounds perfectly. You may struggle at first but once you get going. It's hard to stop. What really makes this app great is the ability to export this right into Maschine on your computer and pick up where you left off to do even more. By no means is this app perfect or meant for full production but if you're out and about and got an idea come to mind, look at this as a sketch pad to get those ideas out, transfer them, and go in more once you get home! Also you can get all the expansion packs separately for one price of $9.99. Which is a great deal so you can't beat it!
  • Delay and lag

This app is horrible! I want a refund. The concept is awesome if it actually worked. It lags so hard never gets the timing right. I press the pads and time it how I want it, but then when I play it back the timing is completely different!!! Rip off

Make it so you can search the internet for samples in the app. It would be such a great addition to the app.

Ive been using iMaschine2 for 6 mo. It's really versatile and may take awhile to fully master if you're new to digital music creation. The sample packs add a ton and if you're creative you can get a lot out of what's being offered here. Ability to make your own samples is nice. More mixing tools would be appreciated.

I'm a loyal customer to Native Instruments because time and time again they seem to blow my mind away.. this app is perfect for musicians across the board just to put a music idea down. Now there are a couple of touch ups that can happen such as post quantize as you are tapping on a phone.. delay perhaps? Minor tweaks to make it more customizable as all of your products are pretty in depth.. other than that, great product!

is there any way we can get automation on this app? on the next update perhaps? 🤔 wishful thinkin'.
  • Why limit it?

This app to me is more than a scratch pad for Maschine. It would be nice if they would add core MIDI to this app, so I could play it with my MIDI controller. The only way to record on my iPhone with this is by using Audiobus and tapping live with my fingers on my phone. If I use a loop I programmed then the export feature is nice, but my music doesn't always have looped drums! This app has some of the best sounds available with a huge library from which to choose, but it has been held back by making this a "stretch pad" when some of us don't have the PC version. This app is solid, but needs some advancements.
